I've listed video parts 1,2 & 3 in posts below this one of Uncle giving a seminar in Gulfport, MS during the year 1996. These video entries give a small taste of what we do. This one shows Uncle's healing massage primarily, but the others show more of the self defense and combative aspects of our art; just pieces of the art that Uncle is trying to get across at the time. Since this was held in a Tai Chi Chuan school more internal aspects of the art are discussed and demonstrated than usual although in part 3, if I recall correctly, is a small bit of knife technique and principle shown.
This blog is a collection of thoughts, descriptions of training and strange typing of a Teacher/ Practitioner in the Indonesian and Chinese martial art of Kuntao Silat de Thouars as learned from Bapak Willem de Thouars, or as I and his other inner circle students affectionately refer to him, "Uncle Bill."

Kuntao Silat de Thouars Seminar Video Part 3
Here is part 3 of a seminar video series of Uncle held in 1996 at Gulfport, MS School of Tai Chi Chuan. I wish I could've been there. Parts 1 & 2 are listed below for viewing. I wish to thank the producer I list in part one commentary again for sharing.
Kuntao Silat de Thouars Seminar Video Part 2
Here is Part 2 of the video series of a seminar with Uncle held in 1996 at Gulfport, MS. Part 1 can be found below this post.
Kuntao Silat de Thouars Seminar Video Part 1
I found some recently added video of Uncle Bill teaching his martial art in Gulfport, MS. Too bad I missed it in 1996. It's just a two hour drive from my home. In fact, I lived near Near Orleans during that time and would've only been about an hour drive. Undoubtedly, I was running an investigation agency and had no time to take two days off in a row to attend the event. This is a nice video with Uncle showing different aspects of his art and Roberto Torres, now teaching his own system of silat, displaying some djurus and langkahs. If you'll pay close attention, you can see Richard Clear also attending, a Senior Practitioner, or Sigung in Uncle's art currently. I wish to thank Mastertapes.tv for and "KungFuGato" for making this available.
